I love England, and I really hope you can visit England, because there are so many things that you can do and see. For example, you can find huge mushrooms, get your dessert out in nature by picking blackberries and elderberries to eat, you can go fishing, you can go camping, you can go to nature reserves, even, and do bird watching.
My favorite thing to do is going camping, and visiting Constable Country. I also loved going to the London Eye, seeing Big Ben, going to the zoo, and going anywhere, really, in England.
Some of my favorite the countryside places here are Ickworth, Hardwick Heath, Nowton Park, the meadows, the sheep pastures, Knettishall Heath and Wyken Vineyards. Some of the things you can get in the countryside are: blackberries, elderberries, horseradish, cobnuts, fennel, walnuts, sumac, lots and lots of mushrooms... Oh! And did you know, nettles are edible! You may think I'm crazy, but all you need to do is get some thick gloves on, and pick them! Even though they can sting you, when you put gloves on, it's easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy.

This is my school trip at Blakeney Point, which is a beach.
This is a picture of me in Pin Mill.
When Mama saw this, she was so so proud. It's a dryad's saddle in Nowton Park.
Look at this tiny, cute strawberry! This was also in Nowton Park.
This cow is having a happy life in Constable Country.
I'll be they're having a wonderful time in Constable Country!
Hey, I'm in my fairy ring at Hardwick Heath!
Isn't this a beautiful greenway, by my house?
Ship ahoy! I'm in my friend's boat in Woodbridge.
What a beauty, in West Stow Park!
Ah, so thankful it's so gorgeous.
Isn't England so beautiful? Thank you so much for reading my blog!
I love all your photos, Amelia! My favorites are you in the fairy ring and that happy cow! I bet that little strawberry was tasty.
ReplyDeleteAmelia, I enjoy reading about your adventures! You have a wonderful perspective and your pictures are lovely and their captions informative! I can't wait for your next post. I wonder if my kids would like to write about their experiences here in Texas? You have inspired me!
ReplyDeleteYou're making me want to travel back to England, Amelia! I was in London this past July and also got to see Big Ben and the London Eye. However, I think they pale in comparison to the beautiful countryside you're so lucky to live near. If only we had fairy rings and tiny strawberries near me in Dallas, Texas.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pictures Amelia! How blessed you are to live in such a lovely place and have parents who are teaching you to live adventurously!
ReplyDeleteEngland looks like so much! But tell me Amelia, did that little tiny strawberry taste good? In my experience the little ones are usually bitter and my kids don't like to eat them!
ReplyDeletePS: Do you pick out your outfits or does your mom? Because you've got great style!
Like so much *fun*
DeleteAmelia says, "Aw, thank you. Mama buys the clothes, and I put them together!"
